Quantiative Genetics/ Plant science
PhD Student @Department of Plant Breeding JLU Giessen, Germany

PhD Student

As a PhD student my focus lies on predictive breeding in general. My research covers quantitative genetics tasks like haplotype block and structural variation-based genomic selection as well as machine learning based high throughput phenotyping with 3D plant scans and multispectral data from UAVs. I´m interested in the relationship between genotype, phenotype, architectural interaction between traits and genotype by environment interactions.
